Welcome to Project Midlife

Hi, and welcome to my blog. Glad you are here. I started this blog as a place to share my stories and observations about life with my friends and family. I am at that age when you have so much to look back on and yet, so much to look forward to. 

One day, as I trip over the dog, and tumble down the stairs to a very dramatic death, I will yell out, “Make sure my grandkids see my blog.” Yes, in my vision, we have a very long staircase and it does take some time  for me to gracefully tumble all the way down, because I also remind my husband, who stands within earshot, “You have a doctor appointment Thursday and make sure they put me in something that makes me look skinny at my funeral.”  In all seriousness though, we do trip over the dog a lot, and tell her on regular basis that if she kills one of us she is getting nothing in the will.
